Re: 2025 Giving Update
Dear Family of Grace,

I hope your summer is off to a great start. Hopefully, things are slowing down a bit for you and your family. That said, I want to take a moment to provide a financial update as we move into these hot summer months.
As of the end of May, financially, we are roughly $4,500 in the red. While that might sound concerning, it’s actually much better than we had anticipated based on our earlier projections and plans. We are so grateful for God’s provision and for your faithful giving so far this year!
As we head into the summer, we know that giving can sometimes dip a bit as routines change and vacations come up, so we encourage everyone to remain consistent in their support as we continue our mission together. Our expenses do not take a vacation in the summer:-).
Looking ahead, we have an exciting opportunity this fall to be part of a strategic outreach that will not only require our hands and feet in service but also a financial investment. This is a wonderful chance for us to extend our reach and impact to the least, last and lost in our community. We trust that God will provide, should we choose to step out in faith and do this. We ask that you join us in praying for God’s guidance on any next steps regarding this opportunity.
Thank you for your continued generosity and commitment to our shared mission. Let’s celebrate the progress we’ve made and look forward to the opportunities ahead!

Loving God & people by becoming the best neighbors ever where we live, work, learn & play…together.

Tool 1: Know your target or bullseye. For us it’s growing in spiritual fruitfulness. How do you know when you’re becoming a disciple of Jesus? When this describes you and your journey:

“A disciple is someone who is growing to be and do like Jesus, while abiding in Him, and  leading others to do the same.”

In May, our surgeon general stated that we’re in a loneliness epidemic in the US. One powerful way to combat loneliness is to gather regularly with a group of people you have something in common with. A faith community is even more powerful. Don’t just look for a friend—be a friend. Be the kind of friend you want to find for yourself.

How to give at Grace

Giving is a part of worship and how we resource our ministry efforts.

While there have never been more ways to give, it's also never been more confusing. So let's simplify that process right now.
To give right now, click the green Give button and follow the instructions in the popup form.

Give

Thank you for partnering with us through prayerful giving!

There are several other ways to give at Grace:

  1. To give online, click the green button above and follow the instructions in the popup form. (what you just read above)

  2. Text the amount you want to give (ex. Type “10” to give $10) to 84321. There you will choose Grace Christian Fellowship and set up an account to begin giving via our Church Center app.

  3. Automatic Bank Transfer (ACH)- Utilize your bank's services where they mail your check to: Grace Christian Fellowship, PO Box 904, Summerville, SC 29484-0904. We encourage you to consider ACH (electronic transfer) because it reduces costs for our church, allowing more of our resources to be active for ministry.

  4. Offering box in the Service - Leave an offering in the offering boxes/pillars in the worship center.
Lord Jesus, we come to you with gratitude for how much you’ve given each of us, as well as, how much you’ve given our church. You are a generous, hilarious giver! Help us reflect that characteristic of you in all that we do this December. May we be known for our generosity so that we can point back to you as the reason for that generosity. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

Questions? Call/text Darien at 843-830-2464 or darien.gabriel@gracetoday.net.

Definition of a Disciple at Grace:

A disciple is someone who is growing to be and do like Jesus, while abiding in Him, and leading others to do the same.

We are creating a disciple-making culture where every person has the opportunity to become the best neighbor ever where they live, work, learn and play.
