About Coaching for Group Leaders
This group is to encourage, equip and empower our bible study, home group, youth group, and mission group leaders towards greater fruitfulness.
While I will share general coaching tips and wisdom here in the Resources section, as well as, through our Message board, most of this will happen one on one.
What's our Disciple bullseye? How do we know we have a maturing disciple-maker?
When we see them increasing in Christlike character and competency (skill).
Fruitful ministry = Growing character + Growing competency
Coaching helps improve competency and character growth.
I will use the following outline for our conversations:
Personal - How are you doing?
Positives - What good things are happening in your group? What kind of fruit are you seeing?
Problems - What challenges are you experiencing?
Plan - How are you going to address this problem?What are your next steps? How can I help?
Prayer - Let's ask the Lord to work in and through us to see positive change towards fruitfulness.
You can reach out to me anytime. But I will try and establish a routine we can both make work for these conversations. The frequency will be established on an individual basis.
